The inaugural Health & Wellness Day on the Green event is set for October 14 in the town of Danville. This gathering will connect local businesses and residents for a day dedicated to wellness on the Town Green. The city has announced that Front Street will be closed between the Village Theatre Municipal Parking Lot and the Library/Community Center Parking Lot for the event, according to the Town of Danville news.
Due to expected pedestrian traffic, the closure will occur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In particular, areas near Danville Library will host various health-related activities, requiring drivers to be extra careful. Lianna Adauto and the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce website are the recommended sources for detailed information regarding the closure or event.
Health & Wellness Day on the Green has a larger emphasis on community well-being. It is intended to promote physical and mental health awareness to inspire a sense of unity among Danville's residents. This event situates local health resources at the forefront and encourages businesses and residents to participate.
Public street parking and downtown municipal parking lots are available for the event's attendees.
