A fatal accident transpired yesterday, afternoon, on the streets of Malden, Massachusetts. A car accident involving a government vehicle claimed the life of an elderly woman. NBC Boston reports that the woman was on the sidewalk near the intersection of Main Street and Mountain Avenue when a BMW SUV, heading south on Main Street, collided into a federal vehicle.
The impact launched the SUV into a rattling course hitting two telephone poles then eventually the woman. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations vehicle was involved in the gruesome crash, two of its agents sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
While the investigation of this accindent are underway, According to Boston.com report, the BMW Driver told NBC10 Boston that, the crash happened after he veered to avoid hitting a vehicle that was turning off of Main Street. Emergence services promptly arrived at the ferocious scene, transporting the lady to a local hospital, where sadly her life could not be saved. Her identity remains confidential at this time. Eyewitnesses claim that she was in her 60s.
