
On October 22, a 21-year-old male was reportedly attacked whilst sleeping on a MTS trolley car in San Diego. An unidentified female allegedly stabbed the young man, according to authorities at San Diego County Crime Stoppers.
The 21-year-old victim sustained multiple chest injuries though he is expected to fully recover. But the physical injuries are just part of the impact. Such violent encounters can leave victims with deep-seated emotional scars and psychological trauma, which often last a lifetime.
The San Diego Police Department and San Diego County Crime Stoppers continue in earnest to capture the suspect, a Black woman aged between her mid-20s to mid-30s, dressed in a red sweater, red sweatpants, and black shoes, last seen at the UTC stop.
Residents are urged towards vigilance and looking out for each other. They are encouraged to help authorities with pertinent information that might lead to the suspect’s apprehension.
