San Bruno Police Department (SBPD) officers arrested a convicted felon found in possession of a loaded .45 caliber ghost gun, and a woman with an active arrest warrant, following a stolen car report. This incident was reported in a Facebook post by the SBPD.
Ghost guns, firearms that lack serial numbers and are untraceable, are gaining attention with potential concerns over bypassing current gun control measures.
In the City of Millbrae, the 49-year-old felon and his 36-year-old accomplice, both from San Francisco, were arrested when officers identified the stolen vehicle they were in. Subsequent to stopping the car, they found and seized the ghost gun, arresting both individuals, who now face multiple charges at the San Mateo County Jail.
