The 22nd Annual Irvine Global Village Festival is returning to Great Park on Saturday, October 14. Infused with diversity, the event will feature local handicrafts, global cuisine, and activities for all ages, as announced by the City of Irvine.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect to find a multitude of activities to entertain. Children can enjoy the expanded Kids Village, complete with crafts, interactive fun, and a petting zoo. Guests can sample international and festival favorite foods, ranging in price from $3 to $10. The Global Marketplace will offer an array of handcrafted goods and art, supplied by local companies.
A series of art exhibitions and traditional displays will spotlight Irvine's creative flair, amidst live dance and musical performances representing the city's culturally diverse population. According to Irvine Mayor Farrah N. Khan, the festival "unites over 90 local and diverse businesses and organizations."
Entry and general parking will be free, providing attendees with an affordable day out. For those who prefer convenience, $10 will offer priority parking closer to the festival grounds. The event's location is 8000 Great Park Blvd., Irvine.
"Irvine's rich heritage and creativity of its residents and businesses will be in full display. An ideal occasion to spend quality time with friends and family," Mayor Khan commented.
