With Halloween fast approaching, Irvine is gearing up for this year's Monster Splash event at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center. Scheduled for Saturday, October 28, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the event is set to be a vortex of frightful fun for all ages, as announced by the City of Irvine.
Monster Splash has become a Halloween tradition in Irvine, offering a range of activities. The young ones can enjoy trick-or-treating poolside, while the pumpkin patch floating in the pool provides an innovative approach to a classic activity. The event also features pumpkin decorating stations, as stated on the City of Irvine website.
Monster Splash offers recreational swimming and an inflatable obstacle course. The venue will also feature bounce houses for children's enjoyment, and designated photo booths for the indispensable seasonal snaps.
Of course, there will be plenty of refreshments available, to ensure that attendees can refuel after all the fun and games.
The city announced earlier today that registration is required for the event. The entrance fee for children under 12 is $12, and includes a pumpkin. Admission for adults is free. There is also free parking, with additional spaces available at Heritage Community Park.
