Old Town Newhall, a regular host to the SENSES Block Party series, is gearing up for its next event. With past transformations including a St. Patrick's Day theme, the City of Santa Clarita is now readying to take a spooky turn. On October 19, visitors can look forward to the Main Street Monster Mash, an evening packed with traditional monster characters, thrilling attractions, food, and music. This upcoming event was mentioned in City Manager Ken Striplin's recent blog post.
Planned from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the event offers custom-designed mazes based on iconic horror figures like Dracula and Frankenstein. Dracula’s Castle maze promises chills as participants dodge bats and cobwebs, while Frankenstein's Lab Escape offers a faster-paced, electrifying challenge.
On top to of the mazes, guests can join in an array of inflatable games. The Werewolf Hunt Nerf Crossbow Range tests attendee's marksmanship against an elusive werewolf. Striplin emphasized in his post, “This will be one SENSES Block Party you will not want to miss.”
There will also an on-street bar, serving cocktails, and food trucks providing different types of meals and treats. This caters not only to those who seek excitement, but also to those looking to savour flavorsome food and drinks.
Local bands, with their exhilarating performances, will be there to further add to the festive ferocity of the evening. The October 19 event looks forward draw large crowds and contribute to the ongoing success of the SENSES Block Party series, wrapping up the 2023 series in style.
