
The Ocean Crest neighborhood of San Diego experienced a distressing event today when a man of 35 was brutally stabbed multiple times outside a local Walmart.
Four men unknown to the victim approached him outside the store at 710 Dennery Rd. A disagreement sparked a physical altercation, with Joshua Sanchez, 27, allegedly stabbing the victim five times in his back with a pocket knife, the Times of San Diego reports.
Post the violent confrontation, the assailants fled the scene. However, the San Diego Police Department, persisted in, their investigation, leading them to eventually apprehend Sanchez, charging him with attempted murder, as mentioned in a Fox 5 San Diego news report.
Swiftly the San Diego police located the criminals' cars, and the arrests were made without incident.
Fortunately, the man's injuries were found to be not life-threatening after he was promptly transported to a hospital nearby.
