Dale Mooney, a New England Patriots fan tragically died at a recent game at Gillette Stadium. Foxborough Police Department have initiated investigations, possibly charging three Rhode Island men in connection with the incident.
The unfortunate event took place on September 17th during the Patriots versus the Miami Dolphins game. Despite autopsy results to be indicating no signs of trauma, witnesses reported seeing a fight prior to Mooney's passing, via WCVB.
Charges for assault, battery, and disorderly conduct are being considered against the three suspects. They will formally be identified if the Wrentham District Court Clerk Magistrate Office finds sufficient grounds to issue charges, as per NBC Boston.
Mooney, a New Hampshire resident and Patriots season ticket holder for 30 years, will be remembered by his family and fellow fans. His widow is seeking answers, questioning whether her husband's involvement in an alleged argument contributed to his death.
