This represents the 42nd fatal collision and 43rd traffic death this year in San Jose.

The San Jose Police Department (SJPD) revealed that the incident involved a 2008 black Nissan sedan, carrying the pregnant woman, and a suspected stolen 2013 white Hyundai sedan. The suspects are believed to have abandoned the Hyundai and fled the scene on foot.
