Shane Glazer of Riverside was found unconscious in his car in Southern California, armed with an unserialized 'ghost gun', on June 10, 2022.
The United States Attorney's Office reports that his arrest initiated a series of terrifying events including a high-speed chase endangering the locals.
In an attempt to firmly handle the issue, Chris Bombardiere, Special Agent in Charge of the Los Angeles Field Division for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, stated that users of privately-made firearms aiding drug trafficking will face severe penalties. He emphasized the ATF's commitment to targeting firearm misuse to combat crime.
This case is a part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), an initiative launched on May 26, 2021, striving to reduce violent crime and gun violence. The project focuses on supporting community organizations, fostering trust, and pursuing strategic enforcement.
