The San Fernando Valley has recently experienced a string of pharmacy burglaries, causing increased concern among local residents and business owners. Law enforcement is currently investigating multiple break-ins, two of which they suspect to be connected.

A recent occurrence unfolded early on Thursday, October 5, at Saint Mary Pharmacy on Roscoe Boulevard and White Oak Avenue in Northridge. The pharmacy's alarm, triggered during the break-in, likely disrupted the perpetrators, but they ransacked the place beforehand. Surveillance footage captured the suspects smashing the front window and fleeing in a black Dodge Durango, with no items reported missing.

In pacific Pacoima, another burglary took place where the suspect, dressed in dark attire, managed to quickly steal drugs and other items from one pharmacy also escaping in a dark Dodge Durango.

To be connected, is a third burglary in Valley Village, which is also investigated. These events have left pharmacy owners worried, including Paul Georges, owner of Saint Mary Pharmacy, who expressed his feelings of insecurity to KTLA.

Surveillance footage from the St. Mary Pharmacy burglary have been released by the Los Angeles Police Department, as reported on CBS News. The footage shows four suspects wearing dark clothing and headlamps. This group is believed to be the same one that targeted another pharmacy in Pacoima within an hour of the first incident. Following this, a third pharmacy in Valley Village fell victim to the burglars where they reportedly made off with a safe of Schedule II narcotics.
