On October 13, an armed home invasion transpired in the 2000 block of Newton Avenue in San José, California, resulting in an injured resident and property theft.
The San José Police Department (SJPD) promptly identified and arrested the suspect, Elias Ramirez Velo, an 18-year-old from Santa Clara, CA, as reported by the San José Police Department.
In the case of San José, the SJPD's investigative efforts led to the immediate arrest of Velo, having received assistance from numerous divisions within the police department. Following a search of Velo's residence, stolen property, a loaded firearm, and a considerable quantity of ammunition were recovered, effectively concluding the investigation.
Subsequent to his apprehension, Velo was released on bail.
