San Mateo County residents have been concerned about a recent crime spree. However, relief comes as a suspect associated with multiple residential burglaries and trespassing incidents has been apprehended according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. The San Jose Police Department also assisted in the arrest.
On October 12, a 29-year-old resident of San Jose, Nathan James Hubbard, was arrested. He's linked to several crimes such as residential burglary, grand theft, loitering on private property, and vehicle tampering.
Tools like residential security systems, Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs), and eyewitness accounts helped police quickly identify Hubbard as the key suspect in these cases.
Potential links between Hubbard and other unidentified or unreported burglaries in the area are being investigated. If anyone has information about this case, they are encouraged to contact the sheriff's office directly.
