Citizen anticipation for Santa Clarita's annual State of the City event is high. This celebration of community progress and unity, highlighted in a recent blog post by City Manager Ken Striplin, is scheduled for Thursday, October 26, at the Canyon Country Community Center. The annual meeting offers a comprehensive overview of city progress and future plans, while also delivering an entertaining and memorable experience, per City's official blog.
In the event, significant accomplishments from the past year, as well as scheduled future projects, will be showcased, as cited by the City Manager. Among others, City Council is expected to share updates on new city amenities including a modern roller rink, Valencia Community Center, and a potential addition of William S. Hart Park to the City's park system.
In line with this tradition, the State of the City will highlight the City Council's involvement in local festivities. Also, a special commemorative gift will be presented to attendees in appreciation of their continued support. Following the event, guests are invited to a happy hour with the City Council on the terrace featuring live music and appetizers.
