Yesterday evening, a single gunshot was fired in the peaceful neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, Boston. The Boston Police Department confirmed that the incident took place on Mozart Street, near the local park, , according to NBC Boston.
The Boston Police received a call around 9:30 PM reporting a shooting at 10 Mozart Street, which is close to the tranquil Mozart Park as revealed by The Boston Globe. A spokesperson, David Estrada, also noted that the area is located between Hyde and Jackson squares in Jamaica Plain.
Surprisingly, the victim of this shooting avoided deadly injury, sustaining non-critical wounds. They were promptly transported to a nearby hospital, and their identity has been kept confidential as they begin to recover.
