
On Wednesday, October 4, an act of vandalism occurred at Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch in Morgan Hill, South Bay. An unknown individual or group wreaked havoc, causing extensive damage to this community locale as per KRON4.
As reported by NBC Bay Area, even a stolen tractor was utilized in the vandalizing act. The farm's scarecrow assortment was decimated, a dinosaur display was harmed, and over a dozen pumpkins were destroyed. The damages were not confined to just the pumpkin patch; the culprits eventually commandeered the farm's cow train to make their getaway. They careened through a wire fence before abandoning it on Santa Teresa Boulevard.
A vigilant security guard confronted the vandals and managed to obtain one of their cellphones. This gives authorities a potential lead in their ongoing investigation.
To ensure against future disturbances, Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch is enhancing security measures. The farm plans to add additional security personnel and install more surveillance cameras in their commitment to protect this cherished local hub.
