
The sudden loss of former Anaheim Council Member Jordan Brandman, aged 43, has deeply impacted his community. Brandman was found unresponsive at home on Friday, September 29, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated public service and civic commitment. The circumstances of his death are under investigation, but his unique contribution to his community remains undeniable.
As NBC Los Angeles reported, the Anaheim police responded to a welfare check at Brandman's residence and discovered there were no signs of foul play. Nonetheless, the Orange County Sheriff Department's Coroner Division continue to investigate the cause of his death, casting a somber mood over the community.
Brandman's public service record in Anaheim was notable. He held a City Council position from 2012 until 2016. He was to re-elected in 2018 but unfortunately stepped down before the completion of his term in August 2021, according to the City of Anaheim. He was at the time of his death, the Director of Labor Relations at the Building Industry Association of Southern California in Irvine.
