Yesterday morning, a man was critically injured in a shooting that took place in the 500 block of Somerville Circle, Vacaville. The gunfire reports spurred a response from the Vacaville Police Dispatch, as stated in a Facebook post by the department.
Shocked by this unexpected event, locals reported seeing a man injured on the ground. Officers promptly arrived on the scene to administer medical aid to the injured man, who was then transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The man was going about a typical morning routine before this tragic incident intruded. Following the event, he is battling for his life in the hospital.
