
A vehicle theft event took place in the Rollingwood neighborhood yesterday. As per the San Bruno Police Department, officers were on the theft scene at 2:30 am, within two minutes of the report and managed to apprehend the culprit after a brief chase.
A 23-year-old male was trying to evade law enforcement but ended up crashing into a fence at Golden Gate National Cemetery, causing substantial damages to the ill-acquired vehicle.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital for a medical check-up, before being booked at the San Mateo County Jail on several charges including the theft of the vehicle, narcotics possession and felony evading.
