A 17-year-old was apprehended yesterday during a routine traffic stop at Airport Boulevard and Miller Avenue. The teen had concealed a stolen firearm, equipped with a 15-round magazine, inside his front jacket pocket. The firearm, as reported in the South San Francisco Police Department's Facebook post, was stolen from Texas.
The teen driver was previously ruled for probation, equipped with search and seizure, and carries past firearm-related offenses. His vehicle had three other juveniles present during his arrest.
The Criminal Interdiction Unit officers discovered the firearm during the search, leading to the arrest of the teen. He was later processed at Hillcrest.
