An Anaheim stepmother, Mayra Chavez, was sentenced for her severe criminal actions: seven years to life imprisonment plus an additional seven years and 10 months for the physical abuse of her 10-year-old stepdaughter and three other children in the home, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office press relese.
