On November 5, a report from the Austin Police Department indicated that an armed robbery occurred at the Airport Lounge on 1197 Airport Boulevard. According to the report, two armed and unidentified suspects were involved, and they stole an unknown amount of cash from the establishment.
The APD has released descriptions to help identify the suspects. Details such as physical appearance, age, and weapon information can hopefully lead to further leads in the investigation. An appeal has been sent out to the local community seeking assistance in this matter.
The APD continues to seek information concerning this robbery. They encourage those with relevant information to contact the Robbery Unit or use the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program to submit anonymous tips. Per their post, up to $1,000 in reward money may be granted in exchange for tips that lead to an arrest.
