Preparations are in full swing at AT&T Stadium for the Thanksgiving Day game. The menu, designed to cater to more than 90,000 fans, includes over 13,000 pounds of turkey, 2340 pounds of sweet potatoes, and 970 pounds of pumpkin, amongst other things. Fan favorite dishes such as the Thanksgiving Bowl and Thanksgiving Hand Pie will be making a comeback this year as reported by NBC DFW.

Moreover, the menu will feature two new dishes, namely the Thanksgiving roll and the Thanksgiving sandwich. The Thanksgiving Roll is an innovative take on eggrolls, packed with green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and house pecan-and-hickory smoked turkey. The Thanksgiving Sandwich is a blend of turkey, mac 'n cheese, cranberry sauce, savory herb dressing, and green beans, encased in a sizable brioche bun per CBS News.

Notably, the planning for this menu began months in advance. "We start planning for Thanksgiving before the season even starts," said Concessions Chef Heather Fuller. Marcelo Vasquez, Executive Chef of Legends at AT&T Stadium, expressed his enthusiasm about contributing to the event as well according to NBC DFW.

The event also highlights the collective efforts of the stadium's staff and local community, with suppliers like Paul Quinn College's WE Over Me Farm contributing local produce. With this farm providing 260 pounds of greens for salads and sides, the partnership also aids the local farming initiative as reported by CBS News.
