A horrifying smash-up between a motorcycle and a vehicle caused major traffic headaches on U.S. 290 near Dripping Springs, leaving one person seriously injured. The wild wreck went down on Wednesday afternoon, putting the brakes on all westbound lanes and sending local emergency crews into overdrive.
Chopper medics from STAR Flight had their hands full, lifting one adult with a heap of injuries over to Dell Seton Medical Center KXAN reports. The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. 290, Circle Drive, and Spring Valley Road per the Texas Department of Transportation.

Responders from Austin-Travis County EMS dashed to the scene as reported by The Austin American Statesman. Details are still dribbling in about the crash that took place after 1 p.m..
While motorists were itching to get ahead, they found themselves parked as ATCEMS sounded the alarm on the expected road block around the crash site.
