In a daylight attack that shook the city of Brockton, Massachusetts, a woman was left injured, and a man was apprehended by the police. Officials stated that the violence erupted on Carl Avenue on Friday afternoon when officers arrived at the scene following reports of gunfire. According to Boston 25 News, police rushed to the area shortly after 3:00 p.m., finding the wounded 39-year-old victim.
According to WCVB, first responders took the victim, who was only identified as a 39-year-old woman, to a local hospital with injuries that were deemed to be non-life-threatening.
The detective found the suspect post-haste, putting him behind bars, a fact disclosed by local law enforcement.
