On Sunday, Burlington, Massachusetts was the site of two attempted robberies, one resulting in the theft of a debit card. The suspect first targeted an employee at the Sonesta Simply Suites hotel with a knife, but the employee managed to elude him and contact the police, as reported by Boston.com.
Soon after, the suspect struck a second time, robbing a victim of their debit card, also at knifepoint, according to WCVB. The stolen debit card was used at two separate locations.
The Burlington Police Department has released images of the suspect and a white Toyota 4Runner associated with him. The vehicle is believed to be between a 2013 and 2020 model.
The Burlington Police Department is calling on the public for help identifying the suspect. Information about him or the white Toyota can be emailed to Detective Domenic Grossi at [email protected]. The department also offers an anonymous tip system for reporting without having to give personal identification.
