Barry Viprino, a resident of Cape Cod, is being charged with multiple counts of rape. The allegations of sexual assault were issued by three women, according to a report by Boston25 News.

All three victims were minors at the time of the reported incidents, according to the Cape Cod Chronicle. Authorities claim that Viprino, 42, manipulated his victims using intimidation tactics, as part of his strategy. Viprino currently pleads not guilty to the charges.

Reports of Viprino's alleged crimes trickled into the Harwich Police Department gradually, with one woman declaring in August, and two others in October and November. Allegedly, Viprino trapped one of the victims in his garage and office brandished a weapon and forced her to undress before assaulting her, as disclosed by the district attorney.

Subsequent allegations have followed a similar pattern, with one victim being reportedly forced into sexual acts across multiple weeks and selling vape pods to underage acquaintances. Additionally, Viprino subjected the third victim to a set of rules and threatened punishments for non-compliance, as stated in the Boston25 News report.

The court records reference disturbing details implying that Viprino posed as a criminal involved in murder and illegal firearm trade in order to control his victims. Contrarily, Matthew Bober, Viprino's lawyer, contests the veracity of this information and insists on Viprino maintaining that all sexual encounters were consensual, as reported by the Cape Cod Chronicle.

If found guilty, Viprino could get a sentence of 20 years for each rape charge and a minimum sentence of 2.5 years for the firearm-related charge. He currently remains in jail on a $200,000 bail. Viprino's next court appearance is on December 14.
