The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department effectively coordinated efforts, calling upon public participation, to locate an 85-year-old woman, Evangeline Elhabr. Her recovery as announced by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department via Facebook demonstrated a union of community efforts.
Vangie, as she is known, disappeared yesterday. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department dispatched the Missing Persons Unit to assist in the search.
Hoodline reported that the community around Cerritos was shaken yet rallied to support her family and join the search effort.
