Last Saturday, Tremaine Dillion and Kahleed Lewis, both 22, were apprehended following a police chase in Brewster. Initially a routine vehicle stop, the situation escalated when Dillion and Lewis attempted to flee, the Barnstable Police Department reported.
Upon apprehension, police discovered a loaded 9mm pistol fitted with a light and laser sight in the suspect's vehicle. Consequently, Dillion and Lewis were booked on a myriad of charges, including unlicensed firearm possession, possession of a large capacity firearm, and possession of ammunition without an FID card, as confirmed by the Barnstable Police Department.
The suspects fled the scene, understanding that they likely faced serious consequences. This case further illuminates the ongoing issue of illegal gun possession.
Dillon and Lewis were held on $10,000 cash bail, and the arraignment took place at the Barnstable District Court yesterday according to the Barnstable Police Department's press release.
