
On Sunday, a distress call was made to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, prompting detectives to commence a death investigation. The victim is a male Hispanic in Compton, California as per news release.
The Compton Sheriff's Station deputies were initially dispatched as a response to reports of an unresponsive person at the intersection of Alameda Street and Artesia Boulevard.
On arriving at the site, deputies found the victim's motionless body in Compton Creek. The Compton City Fire Department, present on the scene, declared the victim dead on-site. This unfortunate finding has since triggered a full-scale investigation to determine the nature and cause of his death.
The investigation is presently ongoing, with no additional information available.
