Starting Monday, November 13, a portion of N. Bonnie Brae Street in Denton will be temporarily close for road construction. This closure will happen from N. Elm Street to Bronco Way/Riney Road, and likely ending by December 1st, as the City of Denton reported.
The construction is part of the City of Denton Northwest Water Transmission Main Improvement Project, which involves a new 16-inch water line. Determined to limit the impact on residents, businesses, and schools, the city has set up detours at Riney Road and Windsor Drive, complete with signage to direct motorists along alternative routes.
Travelers heading to locations such as Denton High School, King's Ridge subdivision, and the Beverley at Denton are advised to plan their travel ahead and use the suggested detours. Importantly, street closures and their planned dates might change due to unforeseen circumstances, per the traffic advisory.
