Light rain made a subtle appearance in San Diego County on Black Friday, adding a touch of gray to the day's shopping scene. Despite overnight showers leaving the area with a modest increase in rainfall, ranging from 0.01 to 0.11 inches, many shoppers remained undeterred per NBC San Diego.
Harbison Canyon and Otay Mountain received the most rainfall at 0.08 inches, standing out in an otherwise dry county. The desert regions, however, envied this bounty, as they awaited drops that never arrived. San Diego experienced slightly cooler temperatures and gusty winds ranging from 30-45 mph, thanks to a low-pressure system.
Weather enthusiasts turned their attention to forecasts, with the National Weather Service hinting at scattered showers. The service suggested that the showers would become more confined to the coastal slopes as the day progressed.
