Last night at approximately 10:05 p.m., a car accident on Grayson Drive in Springfield, Massachusetts resulted in one fatality and one injury. A vehicle went off the road and hit a tree, causing the death of the adult female passenger and injuring the adult male driver, according to WWLP. The driver was taken to Baystate Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Western Mass News reports.
The Springfield Police Department Traffic Bureau is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and if any preventative measures could be implemented in future situations, as mentioned by WWLP.
