
On November 12, a shooting occurred in a Fremont, California neighborhood, resulting in the critical injuries of two adults. The suspect, 34-year-old Lorinzo Haley, was quickly arrested. Haley faces multiple charges, including murder, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and willful discharge of a firearm at an inhabited dwelling, as detailed by the Fremont Police Department.
Following the shooting, officers arrived at the scene to discover the two victims in need of immediate medical aid. While one victim has reached stable condition, the other succumbed to his injuries. The local community was instrumental in supporting the case against Haley. Surveillance footage from cameras installed by residents showed Haley fleeing the scene of the crime with a firearm. This evidence further supported the charges brought against him, according to the Fremont Police Department.
The case was then taken to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office two days post-incident, prompting further investigation into Haley's criminal history, which includes past offenses such as robbery, battery, criminal threats, and burglary.
