A driver riddled with guilt stepped forward for a November hit-and-run that left one man dead. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Christopher Gibson, a 31-year-old Los Angeles local, has been arrested after turning himself in over his involvement in the deadly collision.
The LAPD detailed the harrowing incident that took place on November 7th, when the victim, a 32-year-old man riding his scooter, was struck by a 2011 Mazda 3 driven by Gibson. After the collision, which occurred around 1:10 a.m. on Sunset Boulevard near Edgecliffe Drive, Gibson reportedly abandoned the victim and fled the scene of the crime without a trace of humanity.
