
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is seeking public assistance in apprehending a homicide suspect linked to a fatal assault of a 59-year-old man in Koreatown on October 30. The suspect is described as 28-year-old Jacob William James McFadden, identified as a registered sex offender with a black male's appearance, brown eyes, and black hair. Police have issued a felony murder warrant for to McFadden, who is considered violent and potentially mentally ill as stated by the LAPD Newsroom.
The LAPD responded to an "Ambulance Battery" radio call on the evening of the assault. Initial evidence gathered suggests that the suspect physically attacked the victim until bystanders intervened, pushing McFadden to escape on foot. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital, where he died due to his injuries last Monday.
