Texas sleuths are on the hunt for a man they believe could shine a light on the violent altercation that rocked a well-known local ballroom in the heart of Texas's capital. The bloody fracas, which unfolded within the historic walls of The Ballroom at Spiderhouse, has left the city abuzz, and the authorities are pressing the community for answers, according to the Austin Police Department (APD).
According to a bulletin put forth by the APD, the drama kicked off between 4:57 p.m. and 5:53 p.m., on an otherwise tranquil Saturday, October 14. The searchlight is fixed on a white male described as having a heavy build, suspected to be in his late 20s to mid-30s. The day he was last seen, he sported attire as dark as the mystery that now surrounds him: a black t-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers, broken only by white stripes on the sides, reported by the Austin Police Department (APD).
Anyone with any information may submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
