Yesterday, residents of San Mateo, California, witnessed a hit-and-run incident. A 31-year-old man, Armen Grigorian, struck a pedestrian and his dog, then left the scene. This incident was reported by the San Mateo Police Department.
The victim received medical aid post collision and was transported to a local trauma center, where he is in stable condition. Sadly, his dog, Lola, lost its life in the incident. Being aware of the alarming potential of such hazards on our roads prompts the need for vigilance and empathy.
Upon receiving a 911 each call, the San Mateo Police Department launched an immediate investigation and sought help from local residents to quickly identify the suspect and his vehicle, as reported by the same source.
Grigorian was later located and apprehended in San Carlos, then booked into San Mateo County Jail on charges of hit-and-run causing injury and property damage.
