Yesterday, two suspected drug dealers, Christopher Isaac Ramos-Banegas and Ingrid Adrianna Vasquez, were apprehended in Marin County, California. The specialized investigative unit arrested the individuals in a shopping center parking lot during a failed attempt to sell six ounces of crystal methamphetamine to an undercover agent.
The narcotics seized reportedly have a street value of approximately $3,500, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office news release.
Utilizing the element of surprise, was the undercover detective key to this operation's success. The detective built a rapport with Ramos-Banegas, the suspected methamphetamine and possibly fentanyl dealer. Despite an initial refusal to cooperate, Vasquez was also apprehended due to the team's coordination, as documented by the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
After his capture, Ramos-Banegas supposedly shared that drug dealing is his sole source of income.
