
Vigilant officers of the Piedmont Police Department stopped a vehicle that was driving without headlights on Grand Ave. According to the Piedmont Police Department, the car in question also had no front plate and what soon unfurled was a tale of theft, drugs, and probation violation.
The driver, found lounging behind the wheel was found with 40 Oxy pills.
The vehicle was reportedly stolen from Oakland. The driver was placed into custody and charged with vehicle theft, possession of a controlled substance, and probation violation, as reported by the Piedmont Police Department The vehicle was released to its owner.
