Last Thursday, Riverside resident Sergio Oscar Castaneda, aged 37, was found unresponsive in San Bernardino due to gunshot wounds.
Deputies dispatched to respond to the incident also found a critically wounded 23-year-old female at the scene. The Sheriff's Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, took over the case and identified the suspect as 25-year-old Michael Pasillas, a San Bernardino resident according to the news release.
The Sheriff's Specialized Enforcement Division promptly secured Pasillas yesterday, he was arrested and booked at Central Detention Center for murder.
