
At approximately 11:20 a.m. today, a brush fire broke out near Interstate 805 and 43rd Street in San Diego, which led to a temporary shutdown of an interstate ramp. According to Patch, firefighters quickly contained the fire to prevent it from spreading beyond an acre. Fortunately, no buildings were endangered, and no injuries were reported.
The San Diego Fire Department advised drivers to be cautious when traveling in the area within an hour of the fire's outbreak, due to ongoing cleanup operations for the #43rdBrushFire. Commuters may have experienced some disruptions as the ramp from northbound I-805 to westbound 43rd Street remained closed during this time.
