Santa Clarita Gears Up for The Cube's 3rd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, A Celebration of Unity and TraditionSource: City of Santa Clarita

Santa Clarita prepares to host the 3rd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Cube Ice and Entertainment Center on December 1. Organized by the City of Santa Clarita, this community event features distinctive attractions and performances, making it a recurring highlight each holiday season according to the press release.

The upcoming Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Cube combines traditional holiday elements with unique aspects. The Christmas tree will be lit by the Santa Clarita City Council and Los Angeles Kings announcer Daryl Evans. Attendees can also enjoy a themed ice-skating performance based on the film "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

In addition to lighting the tree, the official announcement states attendees can participate in a public skating session, take photos with Sammy Clarita and the Kings Crew, and sled down a real snow hill. Traditional hot drinks and snacks will be available from The Grille and The Top Shelf.

The evening will also host a UCLA Bruins versus University of California, Berkeley hockey game on the NHL Rink. Attendees are requested to bring teddy bears or stuffed toys for a teddy bear toss following the first UCLA goal, with all donated toys given to a local nonprofit organization.
