Yesterday evening, a South Dallas shooting left two people dead and one in critical condition. As reported by Fox 4 News, the incident unfolded around 6 p.m. near White Rock Creek on Second Avenue.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office, at the time of this report, has yet to disclose the victims' identities. Meanwhile, the shooter remains on the loose.
A truck parking lot tucked next to a gas station and liquor store was the scene of the crime, per another report by WFAA. Witnesses at the gas station reported hearing gunshots and took cover inside the store. Some recalled seeing a vehicle with paper tags, which could lead to potential clues for the investigation. The male suspect managed to escape the scene before police arrived.
