A Facebook post shared by the Springfield Police Youth Aide Bureau describes Jaidalis as about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing around 120 pounds, in hopes that someone will recognize her and come forward.
Authorities suggest she might still be in the Springfield area, possibly frequenting Federal Street, or that she could be attempting to make the long journey to Florida. The reasons behind her departure were not immediately clear, but the urgency to safely recover the teen has compelled the police to strongly urge anyone with information to step forward and to willingly share any leads.
