Early yesterday, the Concord Police Department chased a stolen silver Honda SUV. The suspect, Clenton Fugate, aged 43, allegedly raced across Concord before being captured.
Post-arrest, Fugate, a convicted felon on felony probation for burglary in Alameda County, was discovered to have methamphetamine and a loaded firearm magazine in the stolen SUV, the Concord Police Department reports.
The detection of the stolen vehicle and Fugate's alleged involvement in commercial burglary suggest vehicle theft is often linked with other criminal activities.
