On Monday, a wrong-way driver lost their life in a head-on collision on Ben White Blvd., South Austin.

As reported by CBS Austin, the crash occurred just after midnight, leading to a temporary closure of the highway lanes near South 1st St.
The driver of the other involved vehicle was transported to the hospital, suffering injuries that weren't life-threatening, and the roadway has since been reopened.
