Angie's Body Work Spa on Pleasant Street turned into a crime scene after an alleged assault led to the tragic death of a woman. Marcel Santos-Padgett, 31, of Leicester, was nabbed less than 24 hours later in a swift move by law enforcement, flagged for Armed Assault to Murder as stated on the Worcester Police Department Facebook page.
Responding to an 11:37 AM emergency call on Thursday, Worcester's finest made haste to the massage parlor, breaking through the doors only to be greeted with a sight more fitting for a morgue than a haven of tranquillity—a woman, lifeless and beyond the aid of their desperate medical efforts. A man, whose link to the deceased woman remains a topic unspoken by the police, signaled the officers to her inert body according to the Worcester Police Department's official statement.
Police are investigating what happened in Angie's Body Work Spa. According to the Hoodline report, they are looking for any information that might help solve this terrible crime.
