Yesterday, a fatal crash occurred in the 6700 block of Military Parkway, Dallas. The incident, which resulted in two fatalities, is reportedly linked to intoxicated driving, as shared by the Dallas Police Department.
According to reports, Joel Rosales-Perez, 23, veered off the road around 5:00 am, colliding with another vehicle and two pedestrians.
His car, instead of coming to a stop, continued its path, hitting a light pole before halting. The collision resulted in the death of 21-year-old Lester Matute-Urquea and an unidentified individual.
In relation to the Military Parkway accident, Rosales-Perez is facing two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter and is in Dallas County Jail.
DPD noted that the investigation, documented under case numbers 200964-2023 and 200965-2023, is yet to be concluded.
